Terms of service

These terms are short on purpose. If something is unclear, write to us before you rely on a guess.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Tracks of War ("the game") is made by Iron Compass Studios, Turkey ("we", "us"). These terms cover the game, its online services (lobby, rooms, Quick Match, ranked play, friends, chat) and this website. By installing the game or using its online services you accept them.
2. Age
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law of your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without a parent's consent.
3. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play the game on your own devices. The game, its art, music, code, names and logos belong to Iron Compass Studios or are used under licence. You may not copy, sell, rent, decompile or modify the game, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
Videos, streams and screenshots of the game are welcome, including monetised ones, as long as you do not claim the game as your own.
4. Accounts
An account is optional and is created with Google sign-in. One account has one nickname, which you can change once every 30 days. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your device and your Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account).
5. How to behave online
Do not cheat, use exploits, bots or modified clients, or deliberately ruin matches for others. Do not harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, and do not post hate speech, sexual content or personal data of other people. Nicknames follow the same rules. In-game report and block tools exist; please use them.
6. Enforcement
If you break these rules we may warn you, lock you out of the match queue for a while, or ban you from online play temporarily or permanently. We keep the related records only as long as the privacy policy says. If you think a decision is wrong, write to us and we will look at it again.
7. What you send us
Your chat messages, nickname and feedback stay yours. You give us the permission we need to relay them to other players, store them as the privacy policy describes, and moderate them. Ideas you send may be used to improve the game without payment or credit, unless we agree otherwise.
8. Price, the market and refunds
The game is free to play and has no ads.
The in-game market sells cosmetic items for Ration Coupons, which you earn by playing matches. Coupons cannot be bought, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged, transferred or paid out.
Cosmetic items may later also be sold for money. If so, they are sold only through Google Play, the price is shown before you pay, and Google Play handles the payment. Refunds follow the Google Play refund policy and your local consumer law; to ask for one, use Google Play or write to us. Cosmetic items change how things look, not how strong they are. We will update these terms before any paid item goes on sale.
9. Online services can change
We work to keep the servers running, but we cannot promise they will always be available. Online features may change, pause or end. Older versions of the game can be locked out of online play when a new version is required for fair matches. Single player keeps working without a connection.
10. Disclaimer and limits
The game is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost progress, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Historical setting
The game is a work of fiction set in the Second World War. Nations, units and events are shown for play, not to praise any regime, ideology or crime. The game contains no banned symbols.
12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update this page and its date. Important changes are also announced in the game. If you keep playing online after a change, the new terms apply.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Turkey. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules of the country where you live still protect you, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
